Now that the Olympics are over, you’re probably ready and rarin’ to hit the slopes. Well, frankly, this is the best time to go. The heart of winter is past, so you don’t have to brave the storms and severe cold at the top of your favorite mountain.
If you don’t want to go to Vancouver, there are plenty of places in the U.S. to catch some great powder. Colorado ski packages are a great option if you want fluffy light powder and great spring skiing. If you’re really lucky, you might be blessed with those sunny early spring days when there’s no wind and its 25 degrees at the top of the mountain – ideal spring skiing. And if you have some youngsters along for the ride, sign ‘em up for some
Colorado ski lessons so that by the end of your trip you can lead them down the black diamonds – carefully, of course.
You don’t need to have a
winter ski vacation, just push it forward into March or early April and you will be surprised at how nice the slopes still are. Colorado ski packages are a great idea for spring break or even a long weekend!

If you’re looking for a gnarly
winter ski vacation, the best snow in the world is in Colorado. The thing about ‘Rado powder is that it’s the lightest and fluffiest, and there’s usually a new coat every morning. And it’s always sunny and blue skied, and you can plow the powder as you use the mountain and the green pines surround you and you can race the occasional cloud down the mountain and you take the chairlift or the gondola back up to the top, and get out at look around you and before you and realize that it’s a completely different world.
Working hard on the mountain you're rewarded with the relaxation of a cozy fire and hot chocolate back in the cabin, and after a long day, everyone is tired and happy and you wake up early the next morning so you can do it all again.
And if you have little ones who are in need of
Colorado ski lessons, set them up with an instructor and let them learn everything from the pizza plow to the parallel shred. Colorado ski packages have never been easier to purchase, especially if you want a winter ski vacation, or if you want to take a week during early spring, just call Limitless Adventures, and they’ll take care of you.

Getting ready for your
winter ski vacation isn't just about packing the right clothes, making the flight plans, and getting a hotel. Oh no, there’s much more to it. Yup, packing your thermal underwear is important, but, so are the sights, the smells and the adventure!
So when you plan ahead for your
Colorado ski packages, make sure you put down an itinerary. I know, I know. Itineraries sound boring, but they don't have to be! We're not talking The Griswold's here.
A perfect itinerary includes a plan for restaurants, fun activities, sites to see, and make sure you spend enough time doing everything! When most people go on vacation they become super rushed and need another vacation from their vacation! But if you plan ahead, you’ll have the time of your life.
And lastly, put money aside for the little extras like a nice restaurant for example, but also keep put money aside for essentials or emergencies - the taxi you need to call from the airport (if you didn't make reservations) or the new jacket you need to buy because you somehow lost or misplaced the other one.
When you organize, you become prepared, and nothing can stop you from having the best time on your winter ski vacation!

When you're planning a trip involving
Colorado ski lessons, it's important that you choose the right teacher. If you're new to skiing (or are traveling with someone who is), you need to find an instructor who will be patient and diligent, especially when it comes to safety. To find quality instruction like this, most skiers put their faith in resorts.
Here are three of our favorites:
First on the list is
Copper Mountain (pictured), which offers a huge variety of lesson packages and options. The resort offers both private and group lessons, in addition to youth programs, training for competitions, and even special classes for seniors.
Next up is the
Winter Park resort in Colorado — a beautiful getaway that offers a selection similar to that of Copper Mountain, with the addition of women's-only ski lessons and even instruction for mountain bikes.
For beginners, we recommend the
Eldora Mountain Resort. Just 20 minutes from Boulder, Colorado, the Eldora resort includes a special first-timer package, including a four-hour introductory lesson. That much teaching should help anyone enjoy the perfect
winter ski vacation!

If you decided to book your Colorado ski packages or you are going on a
winter ski vacation within the next few months, I'm sure you've started to read up on the different kinds of slopes available to skiers. If not, that's okay! Just read down a little bit further and hopefully I can help you understand the differences. There are four main types of slopes; easy, difficult, most difficult and expert ski slopes. The easy slopes or more well-known "Bunny Slopes", are for those that are really just starting with their
Colorado ski lessons. You might be able to stand on the skis and you might be able to go a few inches or few feet before falling.
The more difficult and most difficult slopes are for people that already got their Colorado ski lessons and they know how to do tricks, slants, turns, curves, and know terms like "Brain Bucket", "Figure Eleven", "Gondola" and my favorite - Mashed Potatoes! Usually you won't find an intermediate skier on the Bunny Slopes unless he's with someone that is just learning!
Lastly, the experienced expert slopes, are for people like Jonny Moseley and Hermann Maier would ski on. These are going to be slopes that are not only scary, but death defying. While death defying sounds horrible, it's actually not. It’s pretty darn fun - and if you can get to this degree of experience in your lifetime - awesome! If you haven't started to ski yet, get on the bandwagon and take Colorado ski lessons on your next winter ski vacation!

When you go for
Colorado ski lessons, you are going to be assigned a ski instructor. But what does this person do? How can they help YOU learn how to ski? Quite literally these are people that TEACH you how to ski and or snowboard depending on what the instructor is for. They can teach you how to improve your skills or how to learn new skills that you can use out on the slopes. Usually these instructors are going to be experienced and licensed professionals who are most likely part of the staff at the resort you are staying at.
However, there are also freelance ski instructors as well that will come to resorts to train and teach people how to ski. The main goal here is to teach you as much as you can as quickly as they can teach you. These instructors can also teach you specific types of skiing as well such as cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and Nordic skiing. For the snowboard instructors they will teach you things such as advanced skills and tricks as well as safety precautions for use out on the slopes.
If you would like to book one of our winter ski vacations or Colorado ski packages and you would like to learn more about Colorado ski lessons, please VIST our website for more information. We can help you plan everything around your trip including your transportation to the resort, getting a room at the resort and other amenities.

Skiing in general is considered a dangerous sport. In fact, every single year people oftentimes get injured simply because they do not follow specific safety rules when skiing or snowboarding. If people just took a more serious look at how to stay safe, a lot of these accidents could be avoided. It's really important to use common sense. You have to realize that essentially you are on a mountain. You have to realize that there are also different levels of slopes and mountains for different people. So if you are JUST learning how to ski and you are at the bunny slopes, don't go off and try to do some crazy tricks on a higher leveled slope.
This is plain stupid and is not going to get you anywhere, but the hospital. It's also important to realize that since this is a mountain and the snow is packed down, there can be avalanches, so it's also not only important to follow certain safety guidelines, but to always be prepared. Make sure you take things with you like a penlight, radio or walkie talkies, energy bars, water, etc. You can also carry an extra helpful product with you as well such as a whistle that is specifically produced for instances when people get trapped under snow or other things happen to them.
And lastly, make sure you actually wear all of the items and gear needed on your trip. Don't skimp out on the helmet simply because it looks "weird" or feels weird. The helmet, like that of almost every other sport is utilized to keep your head safe from any injuries it could sustain. Also, make sure you take gloves and goggles as well. Not only will the gloves keep your hands warm, but it’s a good way to keep control of your ski poles as well and the goggles can help you see better as you are streamlining down the slope! Your
winter ski vacations could end up being a lot of fun, but it’s so important that you try to follow some of the main guidelines listed above!

It doesn't matter if you are going on a winter ski vacation or a winter snowboarding vacation, there are certain items you should consider taking with you on your trip. These items are not only going to keep you warm and safe, but some of them are necessities when it comes to skiing or snowboarding. First off, be sure to take gear such as skis and snowboards with you. If this seems like too much of a pain you could always call the resort you are going to and ask them if they rent things like this. Usually they will either charge by the hour or by the day, so it might be less expensive for you to just take your own gear.
Second off, be sure that you take safety gear such as energy bars, water, goggles, and most importantly a map. You can either map out your trip and the slopes for your
Colorado ski packages before you go, or you can keep a map handy that they will offer at the ski resort. This is SO important. Not only is it going to keep you on the right path and keep you from getting lost, but it's also going to state what slopes are at what levels. This is especially important if you are a beginner - last thing you want to do is go down a slope on accident that is made for a more professional leveled person!
Third off, be sure that you take extra warm clothing items. This is going to include jackets, long johns, long sleeve shirts and pants. Chances are if you wear shorts in this cold of weather while zipping down a hill, you are going to get frostbite! Don't be a hero, be smart about what you choose to take on your trip!

My friend absolutely LOVEs to snowboard - it’s one of the few things she actually likes about the cold weather! Yea, she's the girl that would rather spend 365 days in 100 degree weather! Just the same, when ski and snowboard season comes around she is oftentimes trying to find new ways to make not only her trip better, but her snowboarding tricks and performance better as well. People say it's all about your form, personally I think it's all about balance! One thing she didn't try yet was skiing.
Skiers always say snowboarding is harder and snowboarders always say skiing is harder. Either way, she was scared! One of the things I suggested to her when she was going to go to Colorado was Colorado ski lessons - if you can't learn from the best, who can ya learn from! Of course it was up to me to find a few Colorado ski packages for her - the one she really liked was Vail. I know its so cliche, but hey, the heart wants what the heart wants.
Evidently her trip went great, she took the
Colorado ski lessons I suggested, and she got over her fear of skiing. What was really nice about the lessons was that are taught by professionals that actually know what they are doing. Not only do they know what they are doing, but they have fun doing it and they teach YOU to have fun doing it as well!

Now when it comes to Colorado, people usually visit this lovely state for all kinds of reasons, but one of the most popular reasons is to SKI! Colorado by far has some of the prettiest landscapes and the most incredible terrain that I have ever seen before. The travel industry is one of the most successful industries in the world, and its no wonder considering there are so many places to see and to visit! Personally, I love the sun much more than the snow. But I have also been tempted to take
Colorado ski lessons as well because it seems like a really fun thing to do! When it comes to traveling - have it be to another part of your state, another state or another country altogether, it's always best to check online and see what is available.
For (an unbiased) example, www.limitlessadventures.com has all kinds of winter ski vacation packages, and they also offer custom vacations for adventure trips as well. By adventure trips, I mean winter ski vacations, snowboarding, climbing of the alps, white water rafting, horseback riding, etc. Anything that is going to get you excited and really gets your adrenaline flowing!
The one problem that a lot of people have when it comes to trips, is that they really just don't know how to set one up so that everything happens "together". More often than not I know of a few people that have tried to schedule everything accordingly so that they wouldn't have to wait for their car, or they wouldn't have to wait for their room, but it always seems to be so difficult. With an organized guide and winter ski vacation company, you no longer have to worry about all of this stuff. Simply tell them where you want to go, what you want to do, maybe where you want to stay, and voila it's all done for you and it's all organized!
