Spring Skiing Can Be Better Than a Winter Ski Vacation!


Now that the Olympics are over, you’re probably ready and rarin’ to hit the slopes. Well, frankly, this is the best time to go. The heart of winter is past, so you don’t have to brave the storms and severe cold at the top of your favorite mountain.

If you don’t want to go to Vancouver, there are plenty of places in the U.S. to catch some great powder. Colorado ski packages are a great option if you want fluffy light powder and great spring skiing. If you’re really lucky, you might be blessed with those sunny early spring days when there’s no wind and its 25 degrees at the top of the mountain – ideal spring skiing. And if you have some youngsters along for the ride, sign ‘em up for some Colorado ski lessons so that by the end of your trip you can lead them down the black diamonds – carefully, of course.

You don’t need to have a winter ski vacation, just push it forward into March or early April and you will be surprised at how nice the slopes still are. Colorado ski packages are a great idea for spring break or even a long weekend!
