Adventure travel trips can be for everyone if everyone takes the time and picks a trip that is perfect for them. Whether it's a Colorado Ski Vacation or and African Safari, here are some tips to help you pick the right trip for you.


1. What is adventure travel anyway?

Don't do something without being fully educated on what it is. In a past post entitled "What is Adventure Travel" we discussed exactly what adventure travel is and expelled some common myths.

2. Where Should I go?

It's definitely a hard choice to decide exactly where to go on your first or next adventure travel. The first step is to decide what part of the world you want to go to? If you are uncertain pick a trip that is popular among other adventure travelers like an African Safari or a Himalayan treck.


3. Am I in shape?

Decide whether or not your body will be able to handle the trip. Everyone assumes that you have to be an Olympian to adventure travel. There are many adventure travel trips that require low to moderate physical activities such as Class II and II river rafting (just hang on!), sea kayaking, skiing, etc...
